Volkswagen Reveals Beetle Concepts for Rocking and Racing
Online PR Expos – 20-September-2011 –Volkswagen wants its fans to get plugged in with its new Fender Beetle, one of two concept cars based on the redesigned Beetle that recently arrived at VW dealerships . Designed to include the looks and sounds of a customized Fender guitar, the Fender Beetle was joined on the first day of the Frankfurt Motor Show by the Beetle R Concept, which adds more power and potent handling to the already-athletic 21st Century Beetle dais.
Celebrating the use of Fender brand premium audio systems in 2012 VW Canada display models, including the Volkswagen Beetle , Jetta and all-new Passat, the Fender Beetle features guitar-inspired styling and technology, like a Sunburst-splendour dash and the ability to actually plug in and enlarge on a guitar through a rear subwoofer. While the Fender Beetle is a unusual one-off, the features of the Beetle R Concept, like its wider fenders, added power and bigger brakes, could one day insinuate it into production.
