Two arrested in connection to car burglaries
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Kissimmee The Old Bill arrested 18-year-old Macario Rincon and 14-year-old Luis Mendoza on Saturday after responding to the Arrow Strip apartments in reference to a trespass complaint. Officers met with the apartment fastness who requested the suspects be removed from the property for trespassing.
After talking with Rincon and Mendoza, the officers received tolerance to search their backpack. Inside the backpack, officers found a radar detector, room phone, flash light, and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. Through the circuit of the investigation officers learned that the radar detector, cubicle phone, and flash light were all stolen from cars in the Reef Cudgel Apartments and the Yu-Gi-Oh! cards were taken from a car in the Arbors of Sendera Apartments.
Detectives lettered that Rincon and Mendoza were on a three to four day car-hopping spree on the Columbia hallway between Hoagland Blvd. and John Young Parkway in Kissimmee. Mendoza and Rincon walked through every apartment complex pulling on door handles of vehicles. If the conduit was unlocked, the two would enter the vehicle and steal alteration and small items.
