Two charged in burglaries
Lawrence County sheriff’s investigators have arrested two Morgan County residents in influence with three residential burglaries.
Corey Christopher Barnes, 18, 1267 Lawrence 369, Trinity, is charged with two counts of third-limit burglary, one count of first-degree theft of quiddity and third-degree assault. Francis Cheri Owens Searcy, 42, same speech, is charged with three counts of third-degree burglary, one count up of first-degree theft of property and second-highly theft of property. Both are charged with misdemeanor assaults.
Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell said the burglaries occurred in April at a abode on Lawrence 294 in the Chalybeate community and Saturday at a storage barn on Lawrence 225 in Moulton.
Searcy is accused of committing another burglary at a manor house on Lawrence 294 about two weeks after the April burglary, Mitchell said.
He said Barnes is charged with set because of an altercation he is accused of having with the property possessor during the Moulton burglary.
