Offering a new concept, familiar platform
As the beget's first all-wheel drive crossover convertible, the 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet breaks new argument in both the crossover SUV and convertible segments. With its never seen before sketch and custom boutique style, the Murano CrossCabriolet is dissimilar to anything on the road - blending all of the things people mate in a crossover with the open air enjoyment of a convertible. With an extraordinarily engineered fully inescapable cloth convertible top with rear glass skylight that folds to about the make an estimate of of a two-seat roadster top, the Murano CrossCabriolet offers unsparing room for four adults and plenty of cargo stretch with the top up or down.
The transformation of the Murano body from Crossover to CrossCabriolet and from four-door to two-door meant more than right-minded removing the top. Along with creating new front doors (7.9 inches longer than the four-door Murano front doors) and eliminating the B-pillars, the edifice has been reinforced from the A-pillar rearward.
The cloth convertible top also includes a raise glass skylight, helping create the susceptibilities of a wide-open interior environment even with the top in the closed arrangement. Dual Pop-up Roll Bars are also standard. The coefficient of slog remains close to that of the hardtop Murano, upstanding 0.39 Cd versus 0.37 Cd.
