2013 Ford Escape: Great mileage, performance, comfort but pricey
Ford has released a series of large-looking cars with excellent mileage lately. But whether it's the too-crowded Fiesta interior or the sluggish transmission on the Converge, these otherwise spectacular mainstream vehicles have had a few serious flaws.
The redesigned 2013 Cut out is different: No matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find anything significantly dishonourable with it.
A duo of new turbo engines offer better about than the competition, the interior is roomy and comfortable, tall-tech gadgetry works well, and it even looks refreshing. All of this comes with a premium price in a competitive fragment.

It comes in four trims: loathsome S, SE, SEL and Titanium.
Performance
At the heart of the Escape's big name are three engine choices, all offering 30 mpg or less ill on the highway, according to Ford estimates.

In back there's a new strip of chrome, a smoother back bumper cover, and different taillamp lenses, but it's otherwise virtually identical to the 2009.
