Another racer was stopped on U.S. 41 come close Archer but was released with a warning, Kelly said.
Kelly said deputies were alerted to Bullrun racers coming through the compass by a Florida Highway Patrol bulletin stating that some of the cars were clocked in plethora of 130 mph.
“One of our deputies attempted to use a laser to get confirmation on the briskness, but it was so fast it wouldn’t even read it on the laser,” Kelly said. “He did get one of them stopped and issued a citation. A sergeant was competent to stop one between Archer and Newberry. They had a film company with them for a TV show on Bullrun.”
